Lynfred Plum

Damson plums are one of the most popular old varieties in America. They are small, found to oblong in shape, and have smooth, shiny, deep-purple to black skin. The firm amber flesh is very tasty with a spicy and tart flavor. Damson plums are great for making wine and spirits. An old English saying is 'good Damson wine is, perhaps, the nearest approach to good port that we have in England."

Lynfred Rhubarb

Thanks to the Romans, the word 'rhubarb' takes its name from the Latin rha barbarum. Rhubarb grew along the banks of the river Rha, the ancient name of the Volga River. Back then, the region was considered foreign, or barbarian territory. Thus, rhubarb literally means 'from the barbarian, Rha'.

Lynfred Rosé

Before starting the fermentation of our reserve red wines, "Saignée" technique is used. This is the practice of removing ("bleeding off") some of the juice from the must in order to more deeply concentrate the tannins, color and flavor the red wine. Then the juice was cleaned by cold settled and fermented at low temperature like a regular white to preserve all the freshness and fruity aromas and flavors in a dry style rose.
