Domaine du Prieure – Bourgogne Rouge
This wine, blending one-third each of the three main Champagne grapes, is crisp, although with a dosage that gives it a soft edge. Full of ripe apple and warm melon fruit, it has acidity as well as a gentle texture. The wine is balanced and ready to drink.

Domaine Joseph Roty Bourgogne Rouge
Bouquet with raspberry and strawberry aromas, a hint of blueberry developing in the glass. The palate has good "bite" on the entry, black cherry and blueberry neatly entwined with quite an edgy, chalky finish that offers a sorbet-like freshness.
